New Range of Online Meat Boxes Will Strengthen a Great Cornish Brand

Etherington’s Farm Shop are launching a new range of online meat boxes in February 2018, making the our high quality, locally sourced meats available to all.

Designed with the aim to get more people eating better meat, and drawing on over 60 years expertise in the butchery trade, the range will feature something for all budgets and tastes.

Boxes will include a family feasting collection and a premium choice for steak connoisseurs, plus seasonal specials for Valentines, Christmas and barbeque season.

The range also features an ‘Eat Like an Athlete’ box designed by local Paralympic medal-winner Melissa Reid to help boost training performance, and an ‘Eat Like a Pirate’ selection – which features a collection of the rugby team’s high-protein favourites.

Managing Director, Mark Etherington said “Etherington’s have always been passionate about the provenance and quality of our meat – in many cases working directly with local farmers who rear native breeds.”

He continued: “The new online meat boxes will celebrate the quality of livestock the county has to offer – from Ruby Red and Dexter Cattle, to large White Pigs and the best local lambs – whilst promoting the Cornish brand to people who genuinely care about their food, right across the UK.”

The Brian Etherington Meat Company has been providing Cornwall and the South West with quality meats since 1954, and has a large wholesale operation as well as a retail division.

The family business diversified in 2012 with the addition of a farm shop, bakery and Cornwall’s first butchery academy.

Etherington’s also has its own range of award-winning Cornish Pasties, which are already available to  buy online and which will continue to be sold alongside the meat boxes.
