How to cook a frozen pasty
Whether you have made them yourself, ordered Etherington’s Pasties online or grabbed a box of frozen pasties from our Farm Shop – Cornish pasties cook from frozen easily, ensuring that when you come to eat them they are as fresh as can be.
We have included our ‘how to guide’ below for Cocktail, Medium and Large Pasties (and sausage rolls too!)
Large Pasties (from frozen)
- Pre-heat your oven to 200°c (180°c fan) or gas mark 6.
- Place Etherington’s Medium pasties on a baking tray lined with baking parchment
- Glaze with an egg or milk wash for a golden finish.
- Cook for 30 minutes, then reduce the oven to 180 C or gas mark 4 and cook for a further 40 minutes.
Contents will be hot, allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Medium Pasties (from frozen)
- Pre-heat your oven to 200°c (180°c fan) or gas mark 6.
- Place Etherington’s Medium pasties on a baking tray lined with baking parchment
- Glaze with an egg or milk wash for a golden finish.
- Cook for 30 minutes, then reduce the oven to 180 C or gas mark 4 and cook for a further 30 minutes.
Contents will be hot, allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Cocktail Pasties (from frozen)
- Pre-heat your oven to 200°c (180°c fan) or gas mark 6.
- Place Etherington’s Medium pasties on a baking tray lined with baking parchment
- Glaze with an egg or milk wash for a golden finish.
- Cook for 30 minutes, then reduce the oven to 180 C or gas mark 4 and cook for a further 15 minutes.
Contents will be hot, allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Sausage Rolls (from frozen)
- Pre-heat your oven to 180°c (160°c fan) or gas mark 4.
- Place Etherington’s sausage rolls on a baking tray lined with baking parchment
- Glaze with an egg or milk wash for a golden finish.
- Cook for 45 minutes and enjoy.
Contents will be hot, allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
