Etherington's Butchery Academy

Unrivalled Quality

Expert Knowledge

On Your Doorstep

Learn from the experts on our bespoke Butchery Courses

Etherington’s bespoke butchery courses in Cornwall draw upon over 70 years of expert knowledge, from nose to tail.

Courses are held in our bespoke butchery classroom, situated next door to our award-winning farm shop. Both of which were part of a huge investment in 2012 to expand the business and to future-proof traditional
butchery skills in Cornwall and further afield.

Each course provides students with the opportunity to get stuck into butchery, learning about different cuts, quality control and knife skills. Whether you're making sausages, or cutting the finest fillet of beef -
Etherington's butchery courses are designed to give you a good knowledge of the carcass and the skills needed to tackle meat back home in your kitchen.

Students will receive a starter butchery kit, including knife and apron, to get them started in the kitchen - as well as some sample cuts of meat that they have butchered themselves to take home.
