Yes. Our pasties are delivered frozen, allowing you to store them in your freezer and bake them fresh whenever you like.

We offer a variety of flavours including Traditional Cornish Steak, Cheese & Onion, Steak & Stilton, Chicken and Vegetable pasties.

Farm Shop

Where is Etherington's Farm Shop located?

You'll find us at Wheal Rose, Scorrier, near Redruth, just off the A30 and conveniently located for visitors travelling across Cornwall.

What are your opening hours?

Our Farm Shop is open daily from 8:30am to 5:00pm

What can I buy in the Farm Shop?

Our Farm Shop is home to a fully stocked butchery counter featuring award-winning meats and our renowned Wheal Rose sausages, alongside freshly baked Cornish pasties, artisan cheeses, local produce, wines, spirits, deli products, gifts and much more.

Do you sell locally sourced products?

Yes. We work closely with Cornish producers to offer a wide range of locally sourced food and drink, supporting the local economy and reducing food miles.

Can your team provide cooking advice?

Absolutely. Our experienced butchers and farm shop team are always happy to offer cooking tips, recipe ideas and guidance on choosing the perfect cut of meat.

Do you create gift hampers?

Wholesale

Do you supply wholesale meat across Cornwall and the South West?

Yes – we deliver six days a week across Cornwall, South Devon, and the wider South West. We also supply selected customers in London. Our fleet of temperature-controlled vehicles ensures your order arrives fresh and on time. During the winter months, from January to March, we scale back our delivery to 5 days a week.

Which businesses do you supply?

We work with a wide range of sectors including restaurants, pubs, bars, hotels, cafés, schools, hospitals, care homes, caterers and event companies. Whether you run a professional kitchen or are catering for a large event, we can supply the meat you need.

Do you offer bespoke butchery and portioning?

Absolutely. Our skilled butchers can cut and prepare meat to your exact specifications from portioned steaks and joints to minced, diced and prepared products. This helps kitchens maintain consistency and reduce waste.

Can I open a wholesale account?

How do I place orders?

Once your account is set up, you can place orders by phone, email or through your regular sales contact. We offer flexible order windows to help fit your kitchen’s schedule. Orders can also be placed up until 10.30pm for next day delivery across the South West.

Do you offer frozen goods as well as fresh meat?

Yes – our dedicated frozen-goods division provides a wide range of frozen meat and prepared items, offering consistency and convenience for high-volume kitchens from pizza dough balls and bases to thaw and serve desserts.

What products are available from Etherington's Bakery?

Our bakery is best known for its award-winning Cornish pasties, alongside freshly baked sausage rolls and a selection of sweet treats.

Are your Cornish pasties made on-site?

Yes. Our skilled bakery team hand-make our Cornish pasties every day using quality ingredients and traditional techniques.

Can I order your pasties online?

Absolutely. Many of our popular bakery products, including frozen Cornish pasties and sausage rolls, can be ordered online for UK-wide delivery

Do you bake fresh every day?

Yes. Our bakery team prepares fresh products daily to ensure quality, flavour and freshness for our customers.

Can I purchase bakery products in the Farm Shop?

Yes. Our bakery counter is located within Etherington's Farm Shop and is stocked daily with freshly baked goods. If you want to stock up your freezer, you can pick up our bakery products frozen from our Farm Shop too.

Butchery Academy

What courses do you offer at the Butchery Academy?

We offer a range of hands-on courses including Beef Butchery, Lamb Butchery, and Pork & Sausage Making. Each course is designed to teach practical skills and increase your understanding of meat preparation.

Who are the courses suitable for?

Our courses are for everyone, from keen home cooks and food enthusiasts to professional chefs looking to expand their skills. No previous butchery experience is required. 

We would advise that this course is really only suitable for age 16 and upwards – we put these guidelines in place for the safety comfort and enjoyment of all our guests.

What will I learn during a course?

You'll gain practical experience working with meat, learn about different cuts, knife skills, quality control, and carcass breakdown techniques, all under the guidance of our expert butchers. 

Do I need to bring any equipment?

No. Students receive a starter butchery kit, including a knife and apron, so you'll have everything needed to take part.

Do I get to take anything home?

Yes. You'll be able to take home cuts of meat that you've prepared during the course.

The Butcher's Tin

What are your opening hours?

The Butcher's Tin is open Sunday to Thursday from 10:00am to 3:00pm and 9:30am to 4:00pm on Friday and Saturday, making it the perfect place to stop for breakfast, lunch or a coffee while visiting the farm shop.

Do I need to book a table?

No, walk-ins are welcome. Simply visit us during opening hours and find yourself a table! If you are a large group feel free to text us on +44 7857 372668, and we can reserve you a table.

What type of food do you serve?

We serve a range of freshly prepared breakfasts and lunches. Our menu centres on quality meat and showcases the best of Etherington's produce.

Can I visit the Farm Shop and The Butcher's Tin at the same time?

Absolutely. The Butcher's Tin is conveniently located alongside Etherington's Farm Shop, making it easy to enjoy breakfast or lunch before or after shopping.
